Mark Raine Announces Candidacy for Tecumseh Mayor

Tecumseh, MI – Mark Raine has announced his candidacy for Tecumseh Mayor. In a news release sent to WLEN News, Raine says that his attention to detail and problem-solving skills are unparalleled. He said that his previous experience as a team leader, trainer, UAW Stewart, and over 14 years of self-employment have honed his negotiation abilities and business acumen. Here is his full announcement:

“Mark E Raine, an independent non-partisan citizen, proudly announces his candidacy for the position of Tecumseh City Mayor. With a passion  for community development and a commitment to public service, Raine brings a fresh perspective to the upcoming election. Mark Raine, has a diverse background that uniquely qualifies him for the role of mayor. Raine’s attention to detail and problem-solving skills are unparalleled.  Moreover, his previous experience as a team leader, trainer, UAW Stewart, and over 14 years of self-employment have honed his negotiation abilities and business acumen.

When asked about his decision to run for mayor, Raine expressed his deep-rooted desire to serve the community that has given him so much. He said, “Tecumseh is my home, I graduated high school here, and I believe it deserves a leader who will prioritize the needs of its residents. As mayor, I will work tirelessly to ensure the revitalization of vacant properties, support entrepreneurship and small businesses, and partner with the school district to optimize educational opportunities for the next generation.”

He understands the positive impact that the redevelopment of vacant properties can have on the community’s overall growth and prosperity. He strongly believes in fostering economic development by supporting local entrepreneurship and small businesses, which are the backbone of Tecumseh’s economy.

Current Tecumseh Mayor, Jack Baker, announced earlier this year that he will not seek re-election.
