Co-Owner/Operator of Marvin Farms Inc. has Passed Away

Clayton, MI – One of the owners and operators of Marvin Farms Incorporated has passed away. 82 year old Joy Marvin, of Clayton, passed away Tuesday in Adrian. In May of 1963, she married James Marvin… and together they opened and operated Marvin Farms.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson, and Holy Family Parish, St Mary’s Campus in Adrian. She dedicated her life to promoting milk, and the dairy industry by visiting schools and hosting tours on the farm. She was fondly known to many children over the years as the Cow Lady.

Joy was a faithful servant at Bixby Hospital Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Rosary Altar Society, Clayton Woman’s Club, and 4-H. Visitation will be held this Friday from 3-7 pm with a scripture service at 7 pm at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, in Adrian.

The funeral liturgy for Joy Marvin will be held on Saturday at 10 am with visitation beginning at 9 am until the time of the service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson.
