Adrian Twp., MI – Members of the Michigan Nurses Association at ProMedica Hickman Hospital held a ‘practice strike’ Tuesday across the street from the hospital, north of Adrian.
The Association has also filed an unfair labor practice charge. MNA says that ProMedica executives continue to demand the creation of a two-tier retirement system, refuse nurses’ proposal for safe staffing ratios, and to offer wages that are below what other area hospitals are paying.
MNA also says that negotiations are scheduled to resume today with ProMedica.
