
Adrian, MI – On Wednesday January 17th, around 2 PM, Lenawee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-car injury crash on M-52 in the area of Dinius Road. The 69 year old female driver of a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck was southbound on M-52 and lost control of the vehicle due to icy roads. The driver of the Dodge Ram truck was an Adrian resident. The Ram truck crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2012 Chrysler Town and Country minivan driven by a 59 year old female from Tecumseh. The minivan rolled on its side and the two occupants were pinned in the vehicle. Both of the occupants of the minivan were extricated by rescue personnel.
The driver of the minivan was taken to Toledo Hospital by ProMedica Air with non-life threatening serious injuries. The 20 year old male passenger, also of Tecumseh, was taken to Toledo Hospital via ambulance for minor injuries. The driver of the Ram truck was taken to Hickman Hospital via ambulance with possible injuries and was later released. The driver of the Ram truck was found at fault and cited for the crash.
