Tecumseh, MI – The City of Tecumseh has issued two statements regarding recent water bills for a third of their residents. The City was recently informed that one quadrant of the city did not receive their most recent water bills. While they were mailed on January 3rd by the City, many have still not been delivered.

The Tecumseh Post Office is diligently working with their district office to get all water bills back to Tecumseh for delivery.

The City says that due to the anticipated delay in delivery, the City will not apply penalties for an additional 2-weeks for the affected customers. Also, 1/3 of the City is billed each month, resulting in the quarterly billing cycle. Therefore, only 1/3 of the City was affected by the delay in delivery.

For assistance, impacted Tecumseh residents can call City Hall at 423-2107 extension 1. Payments can be made in person, online, or in the drop box located outside of City Hall. For online billing information, click here: https://www.mytecumseh.org/
