Adrian, MI – Later this month, members of the Continuum of Care, providers and volunteers will be collecting and gathering information in order to have a better understanding of the homeless population in the area.

This is known as the Point-in-Time… or PIT count, which is required to take place in January each year. Housing Help of Lenawee will also be leading an outreach event in the community that will take place in the morning and in the evening.

The Point-in-Time numbers are the product of annual community-wide efforts each January to determine how many people are living in shelters and other temporary housing, or are unsheltered.

The PIT county will take place January 24th in Lenawee County. If you are interested in learning more about this initiative or would like to participate, contact Housing Help of Lenawee.
