Downtown Blissfield Fire Snarls Traffic, Lisa’s Brunch Box Sustains Heavy Water Damage

Blissfield, MI – Streets in downtown Blissfield, including US 223, were closed for several hours Thursday afternoon and evening as crews battled a fire above Lisa’s Brunch Box. Blissfield Township Fire Chief Dale Fruchey told WLEN News that the fire was in the upstairs apartment area…

 

There were challenges with fighting the fire, especially in a downtown historic area…

 

Madison Township, Palmyra, and Deerfield Fire Department assisted on scene. Blissfield Police, the Lenawee County Road Commission, and the Michigan State Police assisted with traffic control. Chief Fruchey says that Lisa’s Brunch Box sustained heavy water damage.
