United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties to Launch 21-Week Equity Challenge Jan. 15th

Adrian, MI – The United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties has launched their 21-Week Equity Challenge. The challenge is a self-guided learning journey designed to deepen participants’ understanding of, and willingness to confront racism. Participants will engage in a series of readings, videos, podcasts, and daily reflections as part of the program.

The challenge will be through their website, https://www.unitedwaymlc.org/, with registration open now. The Equity Challenge will begin the week of January 15th, Martin Luther King Junior Day and run through Juneteenth…June 19th.

The Challenge facilitates a way for participants to identify and commit to their actions to advance equity, inclusion and diversity.

This year will be the fourth year the United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties has offered the 21-Week Challenge. Since 2021, over 800 participants have taken the Challenge.
