Tecumseh, MI – The Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education will have two meetings next week. The first one, on Monday, is their regular meeting at 6pm in the media center at the High School. Items on the agenda include slating officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer), scheduled reports, discussion about service dogs, and action items about AP course offerings and cafeteria upgrades to the High School and Middle School.
The second, Special Meeting, will take place at 6pm on Wednesday, January 10th. The Special Meeting will also be at the High School Media Center. The purpose of the gathering will be to kick-off the Superintendent Search with Michigan Association of School Boards President Rod Green. Current Superintendent Rick Hilderley announced earlier this school year that he will be retiring from TPS at the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year.
