Lenawee County, MI – Hidden Lake Gardens has given an update regarding the new John and Susan Gruel Memorial Nature Trail. Upon completion the trail will be wagon, stroller and wheelchair friendly. It will also offer an easier hiking route to and from the Sky Walk.
Slusarski Excavating and Paving of Adrian is moving soil, smoothing ground and laying gravel for the project.
Completion of the trail is expected before the end of December, weather permitting. The Sky Walk will be open through the service road access on Tuesdays through Sundays from 10am until 4pm. The Trailhead parking lot will remain closed until the construction is complete. Those visiting may still use the parking spots along the north end of Hidden Lake and can hike to the Sky Walk.
