Blissfield, MI – The Boil Water Advisory in the Village of Blissfield has been lifted. An update posted by the Village says that customers of the water system who were informed of a boil advisory beginning late last week at South Lane and Sugar Streets are no longer in effect.
The area impacted included Blissfield Elementary school, 701 to 755 South Lane, including homes on Parkwood Avenue. Pressure was restored to the system and bacterial samples were collected Friday, and have been tested.
As of Sunday morning, the Village reports that all water samples confirmed that the water does not have microbial contaminations, and residents no longer need to boil their drinking water.
As an added precaution, reference the flushing guide documents that were delivered to affected homes with the original notice. For more information, or if you have questions, contact the Village of Blissfield or the Lenawee County Health Department.
