Lenawee County Historical Society to Remain Open Normal Hours Thanksgiving Weekend

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Historical Society will be open for regular hours this Thanksgiving Weekend. The Lenawee Historical Museum in Adrian will be open on both Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving from 10am until 2pm.

The three floors of the museum are filled with historic paintings, photographs, maps, written documents, furniture, medical equipment, toys, glassware, tools, vehicles, and more.

Many exhibits illustrate the history of the military, political, and local government activity in the area. See the telegraph equipment thought to have been used by Thomas Edison when he worked in Adrian at the telegraph office.

Learn about Laura Haviland and Lenawee County’s role in the Underground Railroad. The Museum is located on East Church Street in Adrian… admission is free.
