Adrian, MI – The Kiwanis Club of Adrian recently celebrated and honored the incoming officers and board members for 2023-2024 during its weekly meeting.
The ceremonial ‘Passing of the Gavel’ signaled the transfer of the presidency from Lynne Punnett, Manager of Community Resilience & Social Determinants at ProMedica, to Cary Carrico, Account Executive with Kemner Iott Benz.
Incoming President Carrico, said, “As we embark on a new and exciting Kiwanis year I know we can continue to make a real difference in the lives of those around us and create a brighter future for all. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this group with help from an incredible membership & leadership team… In addition to developing and promoting more hands on opportunities for club members, I am also committed to generating more revenue for community projects through the development of new fundraising projects. I along with the board the most effective way to make a lasting impact is to invest in ideas that will benefit the community for years to come. Whether it is through grants, partnerships, or other forms of funding and collaboration, the board and I will work together to ensure that projects are well-funded and well-executed.”
The event, which was also the Kiwanis Club of Adrian’s first meeting of the new fiscal year, took place at The Centre.
