Adrian, MI – Multiple agencies responded to Adrian College Thursday evening for a report of shots fired, with injuries…which turned out to be false.
Adrian City Police Lieutenant Randy Spence talked to WLEN News after the scene was cleared and said what happened…
Lieutenant Spence said that the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, Adrian Fire Department, and Madison Township Police responded to the call shortly after 6pm. The scene was cleared just before 8pm Thursday night.
Spence said that Campus Safety and Adrian College worked very well with local law enforcement. The call to 9-1-1, commonly referred to as “Swat Calling,” will be investigated by the police.
