Adrian Public Schools Athletic Director, Chad O’Brian had this to say about John: “For the past 50 years Lenawee County athletes have had the pleasure of being broadcast by John Koehn. We here at AHS are especially fortunate to have him cover our football, basketball, and baseball teams. John’s commitment to our athletic programs and all Lenawee County athletes is truly an amazing achievement. Thank you John.”
General Manager at 103.9 WLEN, and John’s sister, Julie Koehn said, “ John Koehn has been bringing award winning play by play to the listeners and fans of Adrian Maple Football for 50 years. An outstanding achievement. From the wins and losses to the stories of student athletes, WLEN is proud of the history he has made and proud of the community he has created in Lenawee County.”
