Adrian, MI – Six candidates for the three open seats on the Adrian City Commission, and both candidates for Adrian Mayor, met at the Weber Center on the Adrian Dominican Sisters Campus for the October Candidates Forum.
Robert Behnke, current Commissioner Mary Roberts, Matthew Schwartz, Brad Watson, Thomas Faulhaber, and Joaquin Ramos are running for the seats. The three seats are open because Roberts’ term expired, current Commissioner Allen Heldt is running for Mayor, and current Commissioner Lad Strayer decided to not run for re-election.
Heldt is challenging current Mayor Angie Heath. Candidates answered questions formulated by the Lenawee County Chapter of the NAACP, and were given one minute to answer.
