Men from Adrian & Monroe Arrested After ‘Large Quantity of Narcotics’ Found in Vehicle

Monroe, MI – A 32-year-old Adrian man was arrested after a call to 9-1-1 in Monroe led police to respond to a report of suspicious activity in the City at around 2:30am Monday.

The Monroe Public Safety Department for the City of Monroe says that Central Dispatch advised officers that two subjects were in a parking lot walking between cars, soliciting, and the caller thought criminal activity was taking place.

During the interaction between the two subjects, the Adrian man and 39-year-old man from Monroe, both subjects lied about their names and one subject threw suspected narcotics on the ground.

In plain view inside one of the subject’s cars, Officers located a large quantity of narcotics.

Both subjects were taken into custody and lodged in the Monroe County Jail without incident. Their identity is being withheld until their arrangement.

Officers recovered approximately 28.6 grams of crack cocaine, 14.8 grams of cocaine, 3.3 grams of heroin, 28 analogue pills…schedule 2, as well as seizing cash, suspected as being profits of narcotics transactions.
