Litchfield, MI – State Senator Joe Bellino is applauding the announcement that the city of Litchfield will be able to make over $1 million in improvements to Children’s Park thanks to a recently approved state grant.
The Michigan Strategic Fund awarded Litchfield $919,535 in Community Development Block Grant funds toward a $1.1 million dollar project to make improvements to Children’s Park, including a new splash pad, band shell, renovated bathrooms and concession space, and all-inclusive play equipment for children ages 5-12.
The MSF recently approved 16 Public Gathering Spaces Initiative grants totaling $20 million.
