One Sent to Hospital with Serious Injuries Sustained in Ohio Crash

Williams County, OH – The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Defiance Post is investigating a serious injury crash involving a commercial motor vehicle at the intersection of US 20A and County Road 21-N in Williams County.

A 62-year-old man from Stryker, Ohio was eastbound on US 20A driving a 1999 Kenworth. He struck a 1999 F250 in the rear…which was driven by a 27-year-old man from Napoleon, Ohio.

The 27-year-old was driving in front of the Kenworth and was making a slow turn when they were hit.

The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, a 25-year-old woman from Stryker, Ohio was transported to Life Flight with serious injuries to a Toledo hospital. Both people in the Ford were not wearing their seatbelts.

The driver of the Kenworth was not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
