Blissfield, MI – A search of an area near a boat ramp at Blissfield’s Ellis Park Thursday was initiated because there was a walker laying on the ground near the water.
The Blissfield Village Police Department says that they responded to a call about the walker near the water…and located it upon arrival.
Responding officers discovered the walker next to a park bench at the foot of the boat ramp. The proximity of the walker to the water raised concerns for the welfare of the owner of the walker…and an investigation was initiated which included a K-9 track, drone support, and a water search.
At this time there are no reported missing persons and no indication that a person went into the water…the investigation continues.
