Clayton, MI – Hundreds gathered at K&B Asphalt Sealcoating Tuesday night for a candlelight vigil to grieve and remember the lives of four employees who died in a crash on Labor Day just north of Britton.
The four men were between 18 and 35 years old. Family, friends, and co-workers took their turns talking about their loved ones…telling stories about their lives that were cut short.
All four men were in a company pickup truck when they were struck by another pickup truck in the intersection of Milwaukee Road and Britton Highway Monday. Three passed away at the scene…the fourth died at an area hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was in intensive care as of Tuesday afternoon.
