
Sand Creek, MI – Eleanor Ott of Sand Creek captured a World Title in both Level 3 and Level 2 13-&-Under Trail at the 2023 American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.
In addition to her world titles, Ott managed to bring home multiple other awards:
Bronze Champion in L3 Western Pleasure
4th in L3 Showmanship
5th in L3 Horsemanship
8th in L2 Aged Geldings
8th in L3 Hunter Under Saddle
10th in L3 Hunt Seat Equitation
11th in L3 Aged Geldings
Ott also won Reserve All Around 13 & Under Exhibitor.
Ott showed the American Quarter Horse Hez Rainey Made owned by Londa Pickles of Sand Creek. The 2016 Gelding by Machine Made and out of Rhapsody In The Rain was bred by Richard & Betty Jo Carr of Bremen, Indiana.
The AQHYA World is the world’s largest, single-breed world championship horse show open exclusively to youth exhibitors age 18 and under. This is the pinnacle event for youth competitors around the world who must qualify for the event by earning a predetermined number of points to secure a spot in each of the classes, representing English, western and halter disciplines, or earn an invitation through their state or provincial affiliate. The show includes Level 3, Adequan® Level 2 and Nutrena Level 1 Champion of Champions classes.
