Tecumseh, MI – Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) has announced its 2023-2024 National Touring Season featuring seven shows taking place October 2023 – April 2024. Here is the schedule of shows!

10/1/2023 – MUTTS GONE NUTS | 3:00 PM
This family friendly show is created by veteran comedy team Scott and Joan Houghton, who performed their duo act ‘Jessie & James’ on variety stages from Tokyo to Las Vegas. In 2014, the Houghtons joined forces with some of the country’s top dog trainers, world class comedian Jonathan Burns, and eight adorable pups to create this action packed, comedy dog spectacular. Each of their furry performers has been adopted from a shelter or dog rescue. Sometimes the very behavior that drove the previous owner to relinquish the dog, becomes that dog’s star quality. The show’s trainers use positive force-free training methods. They look for the dog’s natural talents by getting to know their individual personalities. Once they find out what the dog likes to do, they reinforce those behaviors with treats and/or toys. Their efforts have resulted in creating the world’s most talented 4-legged performers. Their uproariously funny, comedy dog spectacular leaves audiences everywhere howling for more. The all-star lineup will dance, prance, flip, and skip their way right into your heart.

As America’s Hottest Illusionist, Jason Bishop might have a person passing through his body one moment or make goldfish appear from nowhere the next. Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition. The show is surprisingly funny and truly magical. Bishop cuts through the usual hype and focuses on entertaining audiences with one remarkable illusion after another.  From his breathtaking Double Levitation to his cutting-edge Op-Art and Plasma illusions, Jason Bishop features stunning & original state of the art magic. One thing that distinguishes Bishop is his virtuosity. Each show features award winning sleight of hand, exclusive grand illusions and close-up magic projected onto a huge movie screen. No other touring illusionist showcases such a diverse array of talents. Jason Bishop was recognized by his peers when he was awarded magic’s prestigious “Jack Gwynne award for Excellence in Presentation” in 2007. His performances have only improved since then.
