Lenawee County Requesting Assessments for Judicial Building Upgrades

Adrian, MI – Lenawee County is requesting written proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide a Space Needs Assessment and a Facility Conditions Assessment of the condition of the Rex B. Martin judicial building in Adrian.

The Judicial Building was built in 1978 and houses 10 departments including, the 39th Circuit Court, 2A District Court, Probate Court, the Lenawee County Prosecutor, and the County Clerk.

A Space Needs Assessment shall address the current usage of County office space to identify potential efficiency improvements in space use and technological improvements to accommodate the current and future workforce as well as decrease operational costs.

The Facility Condition Assessment should be a two option assessment proposal. The first proposal shall address the safety, security, maintenance, improvements, upgrades, energy conservation, and renovation needs.

The second proposal shall address the safety, security, maintenance, improvements, upgrades, energy conservation, and renovation needs of the Lenawee County Courthouse.
