Adrian, MI – Civitan of Lenawee, Lenco Credit Union and TLC Community Credit Union each donated $1,000 to Crime Stoppers of Lenawee to kick off the volunteer group’s 2023 fundraising drive.
A social media post by Crime Stoppers says that the funds will help the non-profit group solicit anonymous tips to solve more Lenawee County crimes by offering rewards, as well as with insurance and software fees.
This was the fourth year that Civitan of Lenawee has donated $1,000. It was the third year Lenco and TLC have contributed $1,000. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated as the group has typically operated on an annual budget of less than $3,000.
Additional funds will be used for reward money.
