
Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners heard a presentation about Broadband Internet coverage Thursday evening. The group gathered in Adrian to listen to the findings of the $75,000 study…which was paid for using ARPA funds.

The meeting Thursday was the first of many steps towards getting broadband internet coverage to homes in Lenawee County. Through a new type of funding, all unserved parcels in the county are eligible to receive funding towards getting broadband access.
Administrator Murphy said that part of the process will be working with the numerous existing internet providers in the county…
According to the company contracted by the Board, it could be years before any line is buried. Five of the nine Commissioners were in attendance Thursday night.
