Tecumseh’s Summer Beach Party & Sand Sculptures are this Weekend

Tecumseh, MI – Tecumseh’s Summer Beach Party and Sand Sculptures will take place this weekend, as a busy summer for community events continues in Lenawee County.

The Sand Sculpture event, Sand in Tecumseh, will feature sculptors from Ice Creations in Napoleon, Ohio. Tecumseh Marketing and Events Coordinator for the City of Tecumseh, Rhonda Nowak, talked about the event on a recent Community Conversation…

 

A cornhole tournament will take place Friday from 7pm until approximately 10pm in the Southwest parking lot. Tecumseh Parks and Rec Center along with Killshots Cornhole will be coordinating this event.

David Zinn, a well-known chalk artist from the Ann Arbor area will be doing a demonstration Saturday morning at 10.

The Summer Beach Party in Tecumseh will also feature the popular Pet Parade Saturday at 10am. The theme for the pet parade this year is ‘Wizard of Pawz.’
