Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission voted to submit a Land Transfer Application to the Lenawee County Land Bank for the acquisition of the former Jean Christopher Property, 125 West Maumee Street, for one dollar.
If the sale goes through, the City of Adrian Main Street/Downtown Development plans to go to work designing the future for the site, and the walking path behind the block on Maumee. Main Street/DDA Director Jay Marks presented several options for the Jean Christopher space, the sidewalk behind the businesses on the block, and City-owned properties on Main Street.
Marks said that the costs for any project is unclear at this time…
Below are the current proposed plans for the space. Nothing official has been presented to the City Commission, and the transfer of the former Jean Christopher building property has not been approved by the Lenawee County Land Bank at this time.
