Ohio Man Dies in Suspected Drunk Driving Crash Near Perrysburg

Perrysburg, OH – A 47-year-old Toledo, Ohio man died of injuries sustained in a suspected drunk driving crash early Tuesday morning.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at 12:16am on I-75 just south of Perrysburg.

A Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle, operated by the Toledo man, was driving northbound on I-75 when he struck another vehicle in the rear. The motorcyclist was ejected off of the motorcycle and was then transported to Saint Vincent Medical Center, where he would later pass away.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Perrysburg Township Police Department, Middleton Township Fire and EMS, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
