Adrian Area Man in Critical Condition After Motorcycle vs. Car Crash Tuesday Night

Madison Twp., MI – A 31-year-old Adrian area man suffered serious injuries from a motorcycle vs. car crash Tuesday night in Madison Township.

Police Chief Michael Shadbolt reports that the crash occurred at around 7pm at Sand Creek Highway, just south of Marvin Drive.

Shadbolt says that a motorcycle going southbound at a high rate of speed struck the side of a vehicle that was making a turn into a private driveway.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported by the Madison Township Fire Department to a Toledo area hospital. He was listed in critical condition due to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle was a 76-year-old man from the Palmyra area. He was not injured. The crash remains under investigation at this time.

The Madison Township Police were assisted by the Madison Township Fire Department, Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, Adrian Police Department and the Lenawee County Accident Investigation Team.
