Adrian, MI – The Lenawee Youth Council, a branch of the Lenawee Community Foundation, has released their list of organizations to receive grant funding. The council makes recommendations to the LCF Board of Director for the programs that will help local youth the most.
This year, awards were made to: Adrian Center for the Arts, Adrian Community Preschool, Adrian District Library, Adrian Symphony Orchestra, Associated Charities of Lenawee County, Catholic Charities of Jackson, Lenawee & Hillsdale Counties, Clinton Township Library, Holy Family Catholic Youth, Hospice of Lenawee, Lenawee Imagination Library, Stair District Library, and the Tecumseh High School Drama Club.
Additionally, the teens have volunteered, sponsored college visits, explored careers, offered summer leadership camps, and served on nonprofit boards, including the Lenawee Community Foundation board.
