Addison, MI – Addison Community Schools highlighted the work being done by their Summer Food Service Program in a social media post.
The district said that they handed out 2,392 meals and 171 gallons of milk two weeks ago. This past week they handed out 4,284 meals and 306 gallons of milk.
Addison schools says that unfortunately, estimating the number of meals that are needed is not easy. They continue to increase the amount of food and milk being ordered.
Addison Community Schools asks residents to be patient with them while they work to serve everyone.
