Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian Parks and Recreation Department has set an opening date for Bohn Pool.
The original opening of the pool was set for early June, but was delayed due to what were called critical mechanical failures. One of those failures was the boiler.
The City is looking at options for possibly fixing the existing aquatic center, or building an entirely new facility. For this season, admission will be free for Adrian residents and Adrian Public Schools students and families. Bohn Pool will open for the season, unheated, on June 26th.
The City also says that the pool will not be available for rentals this season.
They are asking residents to check the Adrian Parks and Recreation Facebook page for daily updates on capacity, as well as the temperature of the pool.
It will be open 7 days a week, however capacity may be limited at times depending on staffing. The pool will be open Monday through Friday from 1pm until 6pm, Saturday Noon until 8pm, and Sunday from 12 till 5pm.
