Tecumseh Public Schools Community Celebrates Grand Opening of Sculpture Garden

Tecumseh, MI – The Tecumseh Public Schools community recently celebrated the long-awaited grand opening of the Sculpture Garden…located on the east side of the high school. The Tecumseh High School Jazz Band and String Quintet performed several songs, marking the first official concert at the venue.

The Sculpture Garden features works by current students, alumni, and professionals. The grand opening also featured comments from TPS Superintendent Rick Hilderley, Mayor Jack Baker, a proclamation on behalf of Representative Dale Zorn and a performance by Tecumseh graduate, and world renowned musician, Tim Ries and friends. The Sculpture Garden is located outside, on the eastern side of THS.
