Hudson, MI – City of Hudson Police arrested a man walking onto property of Hudson Area Schools…the same man whose presence near the school in February forced the school into a lockdown.

The schools went into a lockdown Tuesday morning, at around 10:30am, after staff at Lincoln Elementary observed the man walking on to school property.

Hudson staff responded by immediately going into lockdown by implementing the Raptor Alert communication system. Within minutes, Hudson Police arrived on the scene, had placed the person in custody, and we were able to lift the lockdown.

The person was again trespassing, but did not have a weapon, did not make any verbal threats, and did not act out in any threatening manner toward staff, students, or Hudson Police.

In a statement released on social media by the school, they said that they will work within the legal system to keep this person off school property in the future.
