Tecumseh, MI – The Tecumseh City Council has approved the appointment of Amy Slupe as the next Director of the Tecumseh Center for the Arts.
The City received 35 applications for the position, after the promotion of Kelly Jo Gilmore to Economic Development Director for the City.
Tecumseh City Manager Dan Swallow reported to Council that Slupe comes to the City with significant creative experiences and theater and program management expertise.
She was most recently at Lenawee Christian School…as their Director of Drama. The proposed starting salary is $58,000 per year, which is within the current Tecumseh Center for the Arts Budget.
