Lenawee County Household Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday in Adrian

Adrian, MI – A Household Hazardous Waste Day is coming up this Saturday from 8am-Noon at the Anderson Development Company, 1415 E. Michigan St. in Adrian. The event is open to all Lenawee County residents.

Items that will be accepted are: aerosols/sprays; alkaline/MiCad batteries; dry cleaning solvents; floor care solvents; florescent and CFL light bulbs; furniture polish and lighter fluid; automotive fluids; cutting oils; glue and waxes; paint/cleaner and thinners; fuels and oils; 16-oz propane gas cylinders; as well as herbicides and pesticides.

Residents are limited to 10 gallons per car and no containers larger than 5 gallons. Do not mix the materials. Lenawee County residents are asked to enter from Michigan Street and to stay in your vehicle while the materials are being unloaded. For more information, contact Jamie Williams at (517) 438-5332.
