Onsted, MI – The Cambridge Township Board of Trustees met Wednesday night in regular session, and discussed a variety of topics, from police patrols on the lakes to a contract between the Fire Chief and the Township.

The Board unanimously approved the request of the Police Chief, Jeff Patterson, to have a one-year trial run of having a boat patrol for the many lakes located in the township. WLEN News talked to the Chief after the meeting, and there will be more details in a future newscast.

Cambridge Township Trustees also approved their budget for 2023 road projects, and heard an update on the Village of Onsted water and infrastructure project.

They also approved a contract for their Fire Chief, Scott Damon. WLEN News will have more on that story in a future newscast.

At the end of the meeting, Clerk Annette Roesch announced her resignation…effective in August. She cited time with family as the reason for her decision.
