Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian has opened their compost site today.
The site is located on Oakwood Avenue just passed the Cemetery. According to the City website, residents interested in using the Compost Site must obtain a permanent window sticker from City Hall. The City Compost Site is available only to residents that pay for trash pick-up.
Yard waste such as grass, leaves, and garden debris are accepted at the site. Residents are welcome to bring loose material, brush, and branches to dump on the designated piles.
When compost is available, it can be picked up at the compost site during Tuesday and Saturday hours. Compost delivery is also available for a fee and must be ordered from City Hall, first floor at the teller’s window.
