
Adrian, MI – Adrian Civil Air Patrol with SkyWalker Aviation has scheduled a unique aerospace experience at Prairie Elementary School.
All students will be part of the Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Connections in Education, or ACE, curriculum and presentations. Activities will start at the school with a learning session given by the classroom teachers with grade specific student manipulatives.
The second and third learning sessions will again be grade specific and taught by classroom teachers and other presenters to the school’s kindergarten through 3rd grade students.
The 4th and 5th grade students will travel to the Lenawee County Airport Adrian Civil Air Patrol Building for their second and third learning sessions with Civil Air Patrol and SkyWalker Aviation.
The ACE Program is a free, hands-on, and engaging program for educators who are part of the Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Members program teaching in Grades K-8.
Civil Air Patrol is chartered by Congress as a nonprofit organization for the purposes of youth development, aerospace education, and to promote general aviation. The event at Prairie Elementary School will take place on Monday, May 1st.
