Tecumseh, MI – Long-time Tecumseh business woman, Gladys Tilton of Tecumseh, passed away Tuesday at the age of 82.
Gladys was a registered nurse, working at Herrick Memorial Hospital in Tecumseh before becoming the nurse at the Porter Center where she retired after 26 years. For the past 29 years, she has been the co-owner of Tilton and Sons Shoes in Tecumseh.
Tilton was a charter member of Grace Point Evangelical Free Church in Adrian and taught Sunday school for many years. Gladys was also a supporter of the 4-H programs in Lenawee County.
Visitation for Gladys will be Monday, April 24th from 2-4 pm at Grace Point Evangelical Free Church in Adrian. A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, April 25th at 11 am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Point Evangelical Free Church and Hospice of Lenawee.
