Onsted, MI – The Village of Onsted has been awarded a $163,600 grant from the State of Michigan’s Drinking Water Asset Management Program.
The grant will allow the village to locate and study the material of water system service lines and update its management plan for the system based on its findings.
The State program is a $36.5 million grant program developed by EGLE that helps drinking water suppliers develop and update asset management plans and/or develop a distribution system materials inventory to identify materials that are part of the distribution system, such as lead service lines.
