Adrian, MI – The Chris Dickerson murder trial in Lenawee County Circuit Court has been going on for a week now…with hours of testimony from witnesses. The trial is being held in the courtroom of Judge Michael Olsaver.

Andrew Cecil “A.C.” and Count Tereso The Almighty Trevino “True” (pictured below in the white sweater) have both been charged with multiple felonies in connection with Dickerson’s death.

One of the first to speak under oath to the juries was Adrian Police Department Detective LaMar Rufner. He testified that he responded to a stabbing in the City in early May 2018…and the victim was identified as Chris Dickerson.

Dickerson testified in a preliminary trial against the defendant, Andrew Cecil… known as “A C.” (pictured below in the blue collared shirt). A trial was set in Lenawee County Circuit Court for late January, 2019…and Dickerson was supposed to testify there as well.

Chris was subpoenaed, but police could not locate him. The Cecil trial was adjourned, and “A.C.” was released on a Personal Recognizance Bond. The trial was rescheduled for the middle of 2019.

In February 2019, Detective Ruffner was led to Dickerson’s body…which was found face-down in a field south of Hudson. David Taylor led police to the location of the body…we will talk about him in a future newscast.

A medical expert, Lenawee County Chief Medical Examiner Bader Cassin, performed the autopsy on Dickerson’s body. When he received the body, he was unable to work on it because it was frozen solid.

Cassin testified that Dickerson’s body had four gunshot wounds…three in the head-and-neck area and one in the back. The three near or in the head were determined to be from close range…the one in the back from a distance. He was not able to determine which occurred first.

Cassin observed multiple tattoos on Dickerson’s body…including the word ‘almighty’ on his right arm. The toxicology report said that he had methamphetamine and cannabis in his system when he died. The cause of death was determined to be from multiple gunshot wounds.
