Woodstock Township, MI – A massive 40 million dollar road project in northwest Lenawee County is set to get started Monday, April 10th…which will include constructing a roundabout at the intersection of US-223 and US-127.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing the funds to also complete drainage improvements, widen the shoulder, and resurface approximately 14 miles of 223 and 127 from US-12 to Onsted Highway and US-127 to Junction Road.
Funding for this project is made possible by Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s ‘Rebuilding Michigan’ program.
An alternate traffic pattern will be used during construction operations. The entire construction project will be completed by October 2024.
