Adrian, MI – A fire destroyed a small mobile building in Adrian, near the corner of Erie Street and South McVicar Street Friday morning. The fire department received a call just before 10am, and were there within minutes of dispatch relaying the message to them.
The building was completely involved by the time fire crews were on scene. The AFD told WLEN News that an individual was cutting lumber inside at the time, noticed sparking near the electrical outlet, escaped the flames and called 9-1-1.
Madison Township Fire Department assisted the AFD, along with the Adrian Police Department. The cause of the fire, and circumstances surrounding it, are under investigation.
