Addison, MI – An Addison student won the 2023 Lenawee Right to Life Oratory contest this past Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. 16- year-old sophomore Olivia Speelman won the top prize of $200.
Speelman will now advance to the state Right to Live Oratory contest in Charlotte, Michigan on May 20th. Placing second was Lenawee Christian School senior Katie Shane. She received $100. The third place recipient was Lenawee Christian School senior Kaydee Richardson. Richardson was awarded a $50 prize.
The annual Right to Life dinner will be held on Thursday, April 13th at The Centre in Adrian, where Olivia Speelman will present her award-winning speech.
