Fulton County, OH – The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred late Saturday afternoon on County Road 2 near County Road C in Fulton County.
According to police, a GMC Sierra operated by a 59-year-old Scott Berger Sr. of Swanton, was traveling north on County Road 2 when it apparently ran off the right side of the road and struck a mailbox. The GMC Sierra re-entered the road but ran off the right side a second time and struck a tree.
Berger was pronounced dead at the scene. The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Berger was not wearing his seat belt when the crash occurred.
