Adrian Twp., MI – ProMedica celebrated National Patient Safety Awareness Week with a safety award ceremony on Wednesday.
The annual Kevin Webb Patient Safety Award ceremony took place in Toledo, at ProMedica’s headquarters.
The emergency department at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital was selected as a 2023 honoree for their leadership and commitment to safety.
The Hickman Hospital emergency department team has been able to implement new processes that support a more efficient and accurate triage experience, allowing for shorter wait times while ensuring that patient safety remains a top priority.
