
Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian expects construction to begin on a new pickle-ball court in June, after making a determination on location, and getting a price back from their bidding process.
The new facility will be constructed at Heritage Park. Administration and the Commission had considered the old ice skating rink at Riverside Park, and building courts at West Park. The Riverside option had too many obstacles with the former rink, ironically, holding water. The West Park proposal was met by neighborhood push-back and lack of adequate parking around the space.
