Adrian, MI – The Adrian College community gathered at the commencement plaza Monday night for a candlelight vigil to honor and remember the victims of the shooting at Michigan State University last week.
There were hundreds of students at the vigil, which was planned entirely by Adrian College students that are part of the Campus Activities Network and Student Government. One of the speakers said that he was friends with “Alex”, one of the victims, in their time together at Clawson Schools.
Arielle Anderson, Brian Fraser, and Alexandria Verner were shot and killed February 13th at MSU. The shooter, 43-year-old Anthony McRae died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound hours after the killings.
